Terms of Service

Effective May 1, 2026 Governing law: Italy

1. Who we are

Scrapomatic is a software-as-a-service operated under Italian law. Throughout these Terms, "we", "us" and "Scrapomatic" refer to the operator; "you" refers to the person or organisation using the service.

2. What the service does

Scrapomatic is a Telegram bot that:

  • Scrapes publicly available content from Reddit, X (Twitter), TikTok and RSS feeds that you choose;
  • Optionally rewrites or translates that content using an AI provider (included on Pro plans; BYOK option available);
  • Applies filters you configure (keywords, engagement thresholds, NSFW gates, dedupe);
  • Publishes the resulting posts to a Telegram channel you own and have made the bot an admin of, on a schedule you control.

The service does not host third-party media — it links to the original source. The service does not bypass Telegram’s rate limits, does not artificially inflate subscriber counts, and does not provide engagement automation outside of publishing.

3. Acceptable use

You are responsible for the content you cause to be published through Scrapomatic and for ensuring it complies with:

  • Telegram’s Terms of Service;
  • The Terms of Service of any source platform (Reddit, X, TikTok, RSS publishers);
  • Copyright and other intellectual property law in the relevant jurisdictions;
  • EU and Italian law, including but not limited to laws on hate speech, defamation, CSAM, and incitement.

You may not use Scrapomatic to operate channels whose primary purpose is to distribute content that violates the rules above. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do.

4. AI providers

Scrapomatic offers AI rewriting in two modes: Included (Pro plan), where we cover the cost of Gemini and OpenAI calls for rewriting your posts; and BYOK, where you provide your own API key for a supported provider (Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic). In BYOK mode, your key is encrypted at rest and used only to call the provider on your behalf for rewriting your own posts. Any costs you incur with a third-party provider in BYOK mode are between you and them.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Prices are displayed in euros (EUR). Monthly plans renew monthly; annual plans renew yearly at the rate shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. You may cancel at any time inside the Telegram bot or by contacting support@scrapomatic.app; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Refunds

Refund handling is governed by our Refund Policy and, in the EU, by the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applicable to digital services.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Scrapomatic if (a) you violate Section 3, (b) you fail to pay amounts due, (c) your use threatens the security or stability of the service, or (d) we are required to do so by law. Where possible we will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.

You may terminate your subscription at any time from inside the bot. On termination, your data is retained for 30 days for backup-recovery purposes and then deleted (see Privacy).

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service is capped at the total fees paid by you for Scrapomatic in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.

Scrapomatic is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scraped content will be accurate, complete or available indefinitely.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from any third-party claims arising from the content you cause to be published through Scrapomatic or from your breach of these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Telegram bot and via email to your registered support contact (where applicable) at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. The courts of Turin, Italy have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules that may grant a consumer the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence.
